AMASS Dry Gin is a celebration of both the abundant natural terroir and diverse cultural landscape of contemporary Los Angeles. Crafted in Downtown L.A. by Master Distiller Morgan McLachlan, our Dry Gin is a citrus-forward, herbaceous spirit balanced with earthy umami notes from Reishi mushroom and lion's mane mushroom. Of the 29 organic botanicals inside the bottle, 11 come from California, with several growing in Morgan's own backyard.

The corn base spirit is distilled with indigenous botanicals like California bay and cascara sagrada to ground vibrant flavors such as hibiscus, cardamom, cacao, and ginger, painting a vivid palate of the rich multicultural fabric that is the sprit of the City of Angels.

Balanced yet complex, AMASS Dry Gin shines on its own while also mixing and melding in all your favorite gin cocktails. To bring out the botanicals, stir together a Spanish-style G&T with fresh sprigs of rosemary, grapefruit peel, and a squeeze of lime.

  • THE SPIRIT OF CALI

Loved this gin and this will be a regular star in my liquor cabinet. This isn't your college "gincident", this gin is warmer and more earthy than what I had come to expect of pine-y terpene gin slaps. I like this with ice and a splash of soda, with maybe a sage leaf or rosemary sprig in there. If I had to create a Gimlet that tasted like California, I'd make it with this gin.

    MY FAVORITE GIN!

I love sharing this with my friends! Even people who typically don't like gin, once they smell AMASS, they're hooked. I have always loved classic London Dry styles of gin, but this to me has the all of those characteristics, like Juniper, citrus, and spice, but with so much more, like baking spice and earth. It makes my favorite martini (usually 50/50 with Dry Vermouth), but it's so versatile! My best friend loves it in a negroni and my girlfriend loves a Pegu Club with AMASS!

    FLAVOUR BOMB!

A full flavoured spirit from start to finish, a lot of citrus, dried spices, and earthy notes. Mushroom and cardamom are apparent. A must try with dry tonic (3 parts tonic 1 part gin) and great in classic cocktails as 90 proof stands out well when mixed!

CAN'T GO BACK TO OTHER GINS

Once you go AMASS, you can't deny its class. But for real, it's hard to compare it to any others I've tried -- the citrus and spicy notes are subtle and complex, not like the flashy forward tastes you get from other gins. Can't wait to try it in more cocktails.

    STEPPING UP TO ANOTHER LEAGUE

Cannot say enough about the complexity, smoothness and tranquility of this gin. The fusion of fragrances and the hypnotic aroma put it in a class by itself!

    THE PERFECT MIX OF BOTANICALS

Amass has a magic formula that makes their gin delicious and differentiated. It's so good, all you need is Amass and a couple of ice cubes and you have an amazing cocktail.

    I LOVE THIS GIN

This is the perfect gin. I'm a huge martini fan, the dirtier the better but this gin makes me want to reel in those olives and savor the flavor.

REALLY TAKES YOUR MARTINI OR G&T TO THE NEXT LEVEL

this gin is so aromatic and clean tasting, no need for mixers! I love a straight martini, but even my friends who need a little more "mixer" in their cocktails love drinking this alone due to the complex flavor

    CALIFORNIA DREAMING

Amass gin distilled by Morgan McLachlan (who in my humble opinion, is one of the best distillers around) has come up with the magic that makes this California gin one of the finest in the world. Yes, that is a bold statement, but then again this gin in in that league. It has the unique ingredients that pay homage to the Golden State which are then orchestrated by Miss McLachlan into a smooth gin that dances in the mouth. If you love gin or have never had the pleasure of this fine spirit, treat yourself to one of the very best gins on the market today - Amass! You will see that California dreams do come true.

    COMPLICATED AND GOOD

I tried amass gin on the recommendation of a bartender and then decided to buy a bottle. I Think that it was helpful that I tried it before reading the label: I was a bit overwhelmed by the sheer number of botanicals. The thing is that amass manages these flavors well: you can taste the flavors: there's more going on than in many other gins. But it's well balanced and interesting: it's sort of like an everlasting gobstopper in that you can continually pick out and appreciate the various ingredients. And it was a hit when we served amass martinis to gin liking friends. If you like complicated totally worth a try.

    SMOOTH COMPLEXITY

Fantastic flavor, subtle notes of cedar berry, mouth saturating fennel and sarsaparilla. Low earthiness from mushrooms I suspect. Love it! Such a treat. Keep up the great work.

    DELIGHTFUL HOUSE WARMING

This was a belated new home gift for some wonderful friends. They love Gin. Actually they were the first to make me a gin and tonic. They educated me what gin to enjoy with cocktails. So I say your product on Instagram, by a mixologist I follow. Loved his description and appreciation for Amass Gin. Without a doubt had to send a bottle to gin lovers I knew. They loved it and said the gin was amazing.

AS GOOD AS GIN, OR ANY LIQUOR, WILL EVER GET!

I have been in love with this product ever since I tried it. Best "head high" for a liquor I could ever imagine - must be the mushrooms. I genuinely have never had a liquor like this and doubt anything could replicate it. Please, don't EVER change this liquid gold. Just keep it the same and continue on for as long as I live!

    GREAT GIN! GIFTING ISSUE

I love your gin! I recently shipped a bottle to a friend for a Christmas gift but the gift note I added didn't get added to the shipment, so he wasn't sure who it was from. The shipping receipt also revealed the price. It would be great if you could improve the gifting feature in the future!

Botanics for modern life.

Juniper

Juniper (Juniperus communis) is the defining botanical in gin. In fact, the word gin itself is short for the Dutch word jenever, meaning juniper. A member of the Cupressaceae family, juniper berries give the spirit its signature piney, citrusy taste; essentially, they make gin taste like gin.
