In our weekly series, we talk content and cocktails with maude, a modern sexual wellness brand based out of Brooklyn. Each Wednesday, we'll offer recommended rituals for an intimate evening at home.
This week: the classic negroni, a cocktail complex in taste and simple in execution. Thought up by Count Camillo Negroni in a Florence cafe when he wanted a stronger take on his favorite Americano, the bitter-turned-sweet cocktail has withstood the test of time. Maybe we're biased, but we prefer ours with an even heavier pour of gin.

1.5 oz AMASS Dry Gin*
1 oz Campari
1 oz Sweet Vermouth
Orange Twist, for garnish
Recipe
Combine gin, campari, and sweet vermouth in a glass filled with ice. Stir gently to dilute and garnish with an orange twist
*Our recipe skews heavy on the gin, but feel free to pull it back to just 1 oz if you prefer a less spirit-centric sip.
